The Matter at High Pressure (MALTA) initiative has born to address frontier questions related to high pressure research and technology.

New positions are going to be needed in order to set up the new facilities and give support to the whole MALTA necessities.

All positions will closely cooperate because of the interdisciplinary nature of MALTA, and each position will contribute to more than one research area. Also the personnel hired by MALTA will be assigned work tasks related to the common facilities of the network.

Post-doctoral positions
Five post-doctoral positions will be created and each of them will be associated to one common scientific facility (XRD, FTIR, Raman, liquid cells, computation). Their assigned tasks will be to manage the scientific program of the facility (under the general directives given by MALTA scientific committee) and deal with the experimental/computational proposals of the different teams.

Technician positions
Due to the complexity and multidisciplinary nature of MALTA, a significative number of Tecnician vacancies will come up:

• Laboratoy Officer (XRD under pressure)

• Laboratory Officer (FTIR under pressure)

• Laboratory Officer (Raman under pressure)

• Machining Technician (Workshop)

• Industrial Engineer (Workshop)

• Graduate (Pressure generator)

• Technical Engineer (Computers)
